project vision

KC TechBridge aims to increase the most essential outcome of talent programming: an employed candidate well-positioned for future career growth.

By working backward through the lens of the tech employer, this project addresses the fragmented and inconsistent pathways between high school, post-secondary education and workforce training.

This coalition is designed to ensure that tech talent is adequately prepared for the competitive rigor of the hiring process, improving both skill acquisition and workforce readiness.

An increase in awareness of quality resources, and ease of navigation to access these tools, will increase support of talent programs to meet employer demand.

Through the KC Tech Council’s awarding of the Kauffman Foundation’s Collective Impact Grant, phase one of KC TechBridge brings together employers and community partners to build a stronger, data-driven strategy for growing and sustaining Kansas City’s tech workforce.
